Winter Wonderland returns with a reimagined experience, relocating to a new setting within Westport Estate and welcoming families to a magical Christmas village filled with festive surprises, immersive storytelling and enchanting experiences. Please note, Westport House will not be part of this year’s event.
A Reimagined Christmas Experience
This year, Winter Wonderland is being reimagined and relocated to a new setting as Westport Estate undergoes exciting redevelopment works. Westport House will not be part of this year’s event and Tinsel Town will move from its traditional location.
Winter Wonderland Reimagined will continue to deliver a magical Christmas experience in one beautifully festive setting, centred around the Farmyard, home to Gracy’s Pizzeria & Bistro, Ticketing and Westport Adventure. The experience will be filled with festive lights, Christmas markets, seasonal food and drink and enchanting attractions, including a magical train journey, a Christmas carousel, a visit with Santa and story time with Mrs Claus.

Sensory Santa
On Wednesday, 2nd December, Westport Estate welcomes families to our annual Sensory Santa at Winter Wonderland. This special experience offers a quieter, more relaxed way to enjoy the magic of Christmas, created especially for children with autism, sensory sensitivities, or those who feel more comfortable in a calm and supportive setting.

As Westport Estate undergoes redevelopment works across parts of the estate, Westport House will remain closed during our Winter Wonderland event. This year, we are relocating to a new setting within Westport Estate, creating a magical and reimagined Christmas experience for all to enjoy.

On Wednesday, 2nd December from 4pm – 9:30pm, we will host our annual Sensory Santa. A calmer, more relaxed festive experience for children with autism, sensory sensitivities, or those who benefit from a gentler environment.
With softer music, adequate lights, reduced numbers and individual family visits with Santa, the experience is designed to be peaceful while still full of Christmas magic.

Alternatively, you can speak with your Elf on arrival.
Carers of people with disabilities enter free of charge, please do not book them in when booking online. They may simply turn up on the day.
What to consider if someone has a cognitive disability or sensory sensitivity
Adjustments are made to our Sensory Day on 2nd December. Advanced planning is strongly recommended for all guests.
This is particularly important for guests with cognitive disabilities who are preparing to visit Winter Wonderland.
Given the very nature of our event, guests may experience sudden loud sounds and/or unexpected tactile sensations. They may be exposed to non-preferred sensory input.
Some guests with disabilities may find the overall experience overwhelming and benefit from a sensory break. We endeavour to assist our guests as much as possible to meet their needs and to make the experience enjoyable for all. We have laid out what to expect during a typical visit to Winter Wonderland.

Due to popularity and the limited amount of children that can visit Santa, pre-booking online is essential.
This experience sells out every year.
Yes, our members get advanced access to booking so members get to select our most preferred dates.
Our booking engine allows for up to 6 adults, 6 children and 2 infants per booking. If all parties involved fit within this, please simply book everyone in on the same booking. If not, bookings for two families will have to separated.
PLEASE NOTE: If your bookings are within 1 hour of each another, your paths will more than likely cross throughout the experience. The only escorted element of your visit is in the Christmas Village. After the Christmas Village you can of course meet anywhere within the Winter Wonderland experience.
Due to the high demand for Winter Wonderland, we are unable to offer changes to booked dates or times. We kindly ask that you choose your preferred visit carefully, taking into consideration school concerts, matches and any other commitments.
Should you need to cancel your booking, you may do so at any time. However, please note that we are unable to offer refunds.
